The North East Regional Corporate Industry Liaison Group (NERC) began in the early 1990’s as a group of employers who decided to work together in understanding and implementing EEO and Affirmative Action in the workplace. Today, it is an organization that is dedicated to promoting equal employment opportunity and providing leadership in the corporate community. NERC is focused on continuing dialogue with regional and district government agencies, learning about and applying Federal and State EEO and Affirmative Action laws and regulations, sharing industry practices, and programs to help our members and others achieve their strategic objectives for affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, diversity, federal contract compliance and other related initiatives.
